Finance Assistant

Ignata Finance is recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis, the ideal candidate will be hands-on and enthusiastic, as well as keen to have variety in their role aiding the AR, AP and credit control functions. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop your skill set by working alongside a qualified Finance Manager and supporting them with ad hoc duties.
This is a progressive business and is looking for somebody who wants to join a fast-paced environment, high growth environment. Ideally you will have some knowledge of the below duties.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Management accountant in the month end processes, including journal preparation, intercompany postings on the finance system and reconciliation of some control accounts
* Processing sales ledger invoices
* Reconciliating payments and maintaining a clean sales ledger
* Importing bank statements into accounting system daily
* Bank reconciliations
* Processing purchase ledger invoices and checking back to purchase orders
* Preparing weekly payment runs for suppliers
* Setting up bank transactions such as transfers and payments for expense claims and one-off purchases
* Other ad-hoc duties where required

In terms of skills:
