Finance Assistant - Whitehaven - Part-time 12-16 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial reports and budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain financial records, including data entry, filing, and archiving.
- Support the accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Assist with payroll administration and reconciliations.
- Prepare and distribute financial statements and reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and best practises.
