Job description

    Finance Assistant - Whitehaven - Part-time 12-16 hours per week

    Responsibilities:



    • Assist with financial reports and budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

    • Process invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely and efficient manner.

    • Maintain financial records, including data entry, filing, and archiving.

    • Support the accounts payable and receivable functions.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any financial discrepancies.

    • Assist with payroll administration and reconciliations.

    • Prepare and distribute financial statements and reports to relevant stakeholders.

    • Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.


    Requirements:



    • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role.

    • Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial software.

    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

    • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • A proactive and adaptable approach to work.

    • Knowledge of financial regulations and best practises.
