Your new role
If you're looking for a varied Accounting role in which you'll be operating with and communicating with a huge range of Finance and Non-Finance individuals, look no further. This role is the perfect step for an experienced Accounting professional who is seeking to develop their skills further on the journey to becoming fully qualified, utilising and progressing your communication and analytical skills to support budget holders across the organisation in assessing their performance and utilisation of funds. The role will support various Managers and Leaders within the organisation to prep forecasts and budgets, holding regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure you can report back to the central Finance function on budgets utilisation and balance sheet reconciliation. The role will be responsible for posting monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful individual for this role will be able to demonstrate their current abilities to prepare month-end journals & accruals, issue month-end finance reports to budget holders alongside staffing and non-pay reports and overall performance reporting. Tell us where you\'ve supported quarterly re-forecasting tasks and your contribution to annual budgeting processes, with a technical proficiency in producing Management Accounts. Ideally, you\'ll have experience of working on a complex finance system within a medium to large organisation. A willingness and intention to commence studies towards ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA or ACA is a must with the completion of AAT studies to underpin this.
