Finance Business Partner

This role is for a diligent and competent Finance Business Partner to actively contribute to the Not For Profit and Charities industry in York. The position requires the candidate to manage essential finance-related tasks and work collaboratively with the Accounting & Finance department.

Description

As Finance Business Partner duties will include, however not limited to;

• Actively contribute to the strategic financial planning process
• Engage in budget management and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Generate financial reports and present them to the management
• Assist in the annual audit process
• Participate in cross-departmental projects
• Support the Accounting & Finance department in ad-hoc tasks

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Relevant prior experience
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
