The permanent Finance Business Partner role in Peterborough is a hybrid role.
The ideal candidate for the Finance Business Partner role in Peterborough will need to have some experience in fast paced environment as well as collaborating with the wider business at all levels.
Our client is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic team whilst reporting to the FP&A Manager. This position comes with a lot of autonomy as you will help improve financial performance as well as advise key stakeholders.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
·Provide analytical support and Business Partnering to the Operational sites to help plan, understand and improve the financial performance
·Identify areas of improvement, looking at both revenue and efficiency
·Producing the management accounts and commentary for key areas of the business, owning allocated balance sheet reconciliations as well
·Advise stakeholders on KPI's and performance to enable delivery of plan and to review and challenge efficiency and drive margin improvement
·Provide commercial analysis and insight to operational management
·Development and ownership of forecasting/budgeting models
·Establish a working relationship with all key internal senior management teams as a basis for influencing change
Person Specification
·A commercially minded accountant who is qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
·Ideally logistics industry experience but not essential
·Ability and confidence to make decisions, challenge others and Business Partner with the wider team
·Stakeholder management skills and experience
·Strong excel skills
·Works well under pressure and in a fast paced environment
·Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
·Excellent attention to detail
