The Site
There are over 4000 employees in Biscuit International, and the site in Gateshead, a world leading manufacturer of Gluten Free biscuits, employs 230 of those across a very diverse workforce.
They have recently implemented a fabulous LMS system to support training and development within the facility and support culture improvements.

The Role
The Commercial Finance Business Partner's duties will include:
- Interpret and analyse customer specific requests from the sales team and partner to develop financial P&Ls and analytics.
- Prepare and manage customer and product profitability analysis and reporting.
- Business partner with other departments, providing insightful analysis to support decision making.
- Support Financial reporting and analysis for all customers.
- Daily and weekly sales reporting.
- Support month-end processes, quarterly financial forecast and budget.
- Financial data maintenance – support new product code creation, maintain product mapping, create system inputs of key financials during forecast and budget cycles.
- Produce standard product costs and support the commercial team with costing models.
- Work to improve core commercial finance processes and reporting.
- Support the cross-selling function by liaising with the finance teams in other business units to understand product information, costs and group margins.
- Undertaking special projects or ad hoc analysis requested by management, which may involve evaluating specific business scenarios or supporting process improvements.
The Person
The requirements for the Commercial Finance Business Partner role are:
- Ideally part qualified (study support available)
- Possess ability to model and forecast and think laterally.
- Power BI exposure and Excellent Excel skills
- An ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way.
- Organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in a similar role.
