About The Company:
Our client is a growing construction business providing a range of services primarily into the Utilities sector. They achieved over £50M in sales last year.
The business is looking to drive significant growth over the next 3-5 years, focusing on expanding their product portfolio and presence across the UK. As a result, the business is looking to secure new external investment to help achieve this growth.
Finance Director– The Role:
Due to their strategic growth plans, they are looking to bring on board a Finance Director to lead the Finance team and take responsibility for their Financial Management, Payroll, Invoicing, Risk & Compliance functions. They are also looking to develop a robust corporate fundraising strategy. The role will work closely with the CEO in delivering their corporate fundraising strategy, and will meet and liaise with potential investors alongside involvement with financial modelling.
Finance Director– Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Finance function on a day to day basis
- Devise, develop and deliver their corporate fundraising strategy to secure new investment
- Provide support and guidance from a finance perspective on all their M&A activity
- Manage key relationships, both internal and external, for the organisation including with the board and investors
- Draft, review and complete all financial documentation
Finance Director– You:
- Strong experience in a senior financial role within a global organisation
- Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Prior experience of developing and leading an organisation through an investment/fundraising transaction or strategy
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships both internally and externally
