Agility Resourcing is excited to partner with a dynamic construction business in Preston to recruit their next Finance Director. This opportunity is ideal for both first-time Finance Directors and experienced professionals seeking a new local challenge.
The business, with a turnover of approximately £30 million, requires a candidate with experience in a similarly sized company. Given the construction industry and environment, the ideal candidate will be both technically proficient and commercially astute.

Reporting to the Chairman and Managing Director, the Finance Director will oversee the financial operations and performance of the business. Responsibilities include managing relationships with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and insurance providers, as well as contributing to the long-term strategic planning of the company.
On a daily basis, the Finance Director will be hands-on in enhancing business operations. As part of a strong operational Senior Management Team (SMT) in a complex environment, the candidate must be commercially skilled and an effective people leader. The business is committed to reinvesting in its people and operations, offering a variety of project work in this role.
