SalaryOur client, a mid-size SME Media company is looking for a hands-on Finance Director to support the business through a period of growth and change. Reporting to the CFO, this is a broad based commercial FD position with the option for Hybrid working 1 or 2 days a week, with 3 days in the office in Central London. Salary range c. 100-120k + Bonus, Benefits
Responsibilities
- Managing a small finance team of approx. 6 people
- Liaison and communication with board, stakeholders and business management
- Management & Statutory Reporting
- Business and operational planning, budgeting & forecasting
- Systems development
- Compliance, Tax, Audit
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- Accounting qualification ACA, CIMA, ACCA
- Senior Finance Experience at Finance Director, Head of Finance level
- Broad experience across management, statutory reporting, planning, operations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership skills
The successful candidate will be a hands-on self-starter with an eye for detail as well as the ability to see the bigger picture. You will be a trusted member of the finance team with an interest in mentoring and developing your team. You will also have excellent communication skills to be an effective leader across the business and also have the gravitas to deal with external stakeholders.
