We are looking for an experienced Accountant seeking a new challenge and opportunity to set up within a group that can offer career development and progression.


Management accounts responsibilities

1.\tPreparing monthly management accounts & presented reporting pack with critical analysis of variances & at Director Meetings on a regular basis.

2.\tProvided Management information for the agency and provided the Monthly budget reports to strict deadline

3.\tWorked closely with the local authorities and NHS Trusts to claim all the overdue revenue, providing all the required paperwork. Ensure revenue generation up to date. Responsible for accruals and prepayments

4.\tControlled all banking requirements including cash flow management and forward forecasting, as top-level authorised signatory for the business.

5.\tAnalysing targets, actuals vs budget and vs previous periods

6.\tTo manage efficiency & cost reduction & recovery across the Kcare, working closely with the branch managers to implement agreed strategies & supported contract negotiation & major tenders & business cases production & supported and influenced commercial decision making for the nursing contract establishing all financial reporting requirements

7.\tPreparation of annual budget cycle and supporting senior James Cowper in the preparation of the statutory accounts and Preparation of year end account & dealing with external audit

8.\tLeading on financial reporting, including analysing financial information and preparing summary reporting, ensuring that directors are able to make decisions based on accurate financial information

9.\tProvision of the Monthly management account pack and preparing the monthly financial information for directors

10.\tReport CAPEX expenditure to directors to assist in approval process and advise Operations Director on the production of CAPEX business cases, bank reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register

11.\tPreparation and submission of statutory returns

12.\tManaged financial risk ensuring early warning and effective mitigation

13.\tManagement of outsource team in India


Sales Team Commission

1.\tAnalysis on weekly margin sales and Branch Managers and feeding accurate commission data back to the sales team.

2.\tHeld responsibility for master data management as well as setting up new clients, contracts pay and charge rates on eclipse


NHS Professionals portal

3.\tEnsuring accurate rate card is uploaded on NHS Professional portals

4.\tEnsuring NHS Hospital managers prompt authorise candidates timesheets to ensure they are paid on time


Bonus incentives

1.\tManagement of all payroll system, including bonus incentive calculations and job cost to improving staff productivity and retention.


Strategy

1.\tContributing on value for money, market analysis, supplier assessment and investment appraisal business cases

2.\tEnsured proper internal control is in place and that the business is aware of processes and procedures and providing analysis and supporting compliance interrogating available data and making recommendations for future growth

3.\tSupported bidding activities associated with existing contracts by establishing all financial reported requirements


Payroll

1.\tEnsured that all timesheets were properly recorded and matched the contracted hours so that payment was not delayed ensuring compliance with financial processes

2.\tManage Outsource team in India


People Leadership and Development

1.\tBeing responsibility for the management, recruitment, as well as performance appraisal of the team in line with company policies and goals.
