Salary - up to £55,000 (dependent on relevant experience)

Are you a practical and positive Management Accountant with a solid background in accountancy practice, seeking an exciting new challenge? Cedar have partnered with a distinctive boutique accountancy firm that is on the lookout for a new addition to their Business Services Department.
Key Accountabilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts and month-end reporting.
- Investigating any discrepancies in the accounts, providing commentary and variance analysis.
- Conduct monthly analysis of overhead spend.
- Prepare month-end prepayments and accruals.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
- Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Supervise payment runs and supplier invoice approval.
- Process bad debt write-offs and sales ledger adjustments.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous practice experience is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work to varying deadlines.
- Team player.
- Proactive and uses own initiative.
- Problem solver.
- Strong Excel skills.
