An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Manager - Defence/Aerospace to join this Designer & Manufacturer of control panels, displays and fully integrated systems for various industries including Military, Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial.

The role be based in the Head Office in Reading and require visits to customer sites across the UK to discuss the design process and provide the solution

The position of Technical Sales Manager - Defence/Aerospace to will be responsible for increasing sales of the business through Technical Consultation with existing and new customers, working closely with the team to develop new products to bring to market based on their expertise and customer knowledge.

Requirements of a Technical Sales Manager - Defence/Aerospace

- Ideally have a Mechanical Degree or proven experience in technical sales into defence and aerospace customers

- Identify and develop new sales opportunities

- Understand customer technical requirements liaising with engineers

- Be the face of the business to key customers

- Heavily involved in the designing-in process

- Self-motivated and disciplined

- Strong communicator and presenter
