SalaryNigel Wright are delighted to be supporting an independent distributor with operations in the UK, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and the USA.
They are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager into their team to be responsible for the finance function.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:-
- Production of monthly Management accounts and supporting information.
- Rolling cash flow forecasting, managing supplier payments, bank reconciliation and overseeing credit control.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Production of Year end Accounts and liaison with external auditors.
- Monthly customer, and product sales, analysis.
- Process monthly payroll, including pension scheme return and management.
- HMRC VAT and PAYE returns.
- Management of Foreign Currency payments to non UK suppliers.
- Managing Xero accounting system, including supplier invoices, accruals and prepayments.
- Company credit card reconciliation and journal posting.
- Management of Fixed Asset register.
- Calculation of Plastic Packaging Tax and return to HMRC
You Will Be/Have
- Proactive, passionate and be able to be left to their own devices.
- Preferably who has done a similar role before and has a hands-on approach.
- Confident communicator and have the confidence to provide and challenge information.
- Ideally have experience with Xero
