WHAT YOU WILL WANT TO KNOW AS A FINANCE MANAGER;
- £40,000 - £50,000per annum
- Monday-Friday, 8.30am-17.30pm
- Fully office based role
- 20 days holiday + Bank holidays
- Free car parking at their flag ship site, just outside of Selby!
- Staff discounts at all sites across UK
- Due to location you will need your own transport
A SNAPSHOT OF THE FINANCE MANAGER’S DAY
The Finance Manager will oversee all accounting functions within the business
- You will be responsible for the Finance team
- Ensure timely preparation of group monthly management reporting.
- Responsible for managing the audit of the Group consolidated accounts
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and current legislation.
Does this sound like a good fit for you? Please read on for the essential skills our client is hoping you will be able to showcase:
- Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years post qualification experience or qualified by experience, preferably in industry/retail.
- Solid management accounts preparation, review, and analytical skills
- Technical accounting knowledge including exposure to preparing for or audit of medium/large group company accounts.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Power BI and Sage 200 knowledge desirable but not essential
- Financial planning, budgeting, and analysis skills
- Experience of managing and developing finance teams and processes
- Capable of working to tight deadlines whilst retaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy: and
- Ability to identify and continually drive improvements.
