Job title: Finance Manager
Salary: Up to GBP50,000
Location: Whitely Hampshire - Hybrid pattern, 3 days a week in the office.About the role of Finance Manager:Our client is a fast-growing and dynamic, award-winning next-generation property marketplace. A market disruptor enabling home movers to conduct an end-to-end property transaction via a single platform.They are looking for an ambitious and collaborative Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be reporting to the part-time CFO, this role requires a self-motivated, independent, and action-orientated individual who is comfortable working as a core member of the Finance team and has an aspiration to become the Finance Director of the Group.
Responsibilities for the position of Finance Manager:
- Assisting with the production of weekly and monthly management accounts and draft commentary.
- Production of balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Reconciliation of all control accounts regularly and inter-company accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the production of the firm's annual budget and forecasts.
- Maintain and update the firm's budget models.
- Produce monthly expenditure and headcount reports for budget holders.
- Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow reports and produce
- variance analysis.
- Produce analysis of debt
- Assist with the production of all statutory accounts.
- Responsible for the preparation of all P&L supporting schedules and balance sheet supporting schedules.
- Responsibility for production and monitoring of weekly KPIs.
- Management of monthly payroll process across 4 entities including:
- Commission calculations
- Distribution of commission statements to all advisers
- Processing starter/leaver/other adjustments
- HMRC processing
- Accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Management of supplier payments
- Preparation of company cashflow reports
- Adhoc management account and data analysis
- VAT returns
- Ownership of PowerBI reporting and analysis
- Preparation of weekly trading analysis and reports
- Rolling forward monthly trading forecast models
- Preparation of introducer payments
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and payroll inputs as required
Experience required:
- 2:1 Finance or Accounting degree.
- Proven budget/forecasting experience
- Payroll process experience.
- Qualified accountant - (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
- Experience in producing monthly management accounts.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proven experience or preference for working in a small team/working in an SME environment.
- Power BI experience is highly desired.
- Prior experience in a large accounting or financial management firm is advantageous.
