A Finance Manager is sought for our client, responsible for managing processes and a small team. The successful candidate will be a key player in shaping our business strategy and ensuring financial compliance.

Description
The key duties of the Finance Manager role will be to:
- Support the Finance Director with month end processes including reconciliations, P&L, audit and transaction postings
- Support with cashflow management
- Oversee sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Process bank transfer requests, supplier statements and cash expenses
- Process monthly journals
- Reconciliation of bank statements
- Credit Control management
- Assist with Payroll (external provider)
- Manage a team of 3
Profile
A successful Wallingford based Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
- Working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
- Ideally familiar with working with SAP
- Demonstrable experience in a similar finance role
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
