Finance Manager

A Finance Manager is sought for our client, responsible for managing processes and a small team. The successful candidate will be a key player in shaping our business strategy and ensuring financial compliance.

Description

The key duties of the Finance Manager role will be to:

• Support the Finance Director with month end processes including reconciliations, P&L, audit and transaction postings
• Support with cashflow management
• Oversee sales ledger and purchase ledger
• Process bank transfer requests, supplier statements and cash expenses
• Process monthly journals
• Reconciliation of bank statements
• Credit Control management
• Assist with Payroll (external provider)
• Manage a team of 3

Profile

A successful Wallingford based Finance Manager should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
• Working towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
• Ideally familiar with working with SAP
• Demonstrable experience in a similar finance role
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
