As Finance Manager you will report directly into the Managing Director. Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Managing the day- to-day finance operations, including preparing payroll
- Lead and mentor a team of 3
- Monthly Management Accounting, financial reporting with budgeting and forecasting
- Business Partnering and Stake holder management
- Ensure Industry best practices
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and enhance profitability
- VAT returns, prep and submission
- Manage company's foreign currency strategy
- Ad hoc Project Management
You will be a strong team player with a 'hands on, roll your sleeves up attitude'. The team all pitch in where required to ensure the job's done! This will appeal to you if you're looking for more exposure and understanding on all business operations.
The ideal candidate
Ideally, you will be ACCA, CIMA or ACCA qualified with Industry experience, but applications are welcome from AAT qualified with at least 5 years experience in a Finance Manager capacity within a manufacturing / distribution business.
As an experienced Finance Manager you will:
- Have the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communications, presentation and business partnering skills
- Strong Excel skills
- International Group reporting experience is desirable but not essential.
- Navision experience would be advantage but again not essential

Please note: this is a office based role (free parking is available) in North Yorkshire. Comfortably commutable from areas in North Leeds such as Wetherby & Harrogate.
