New opportuntiy with a rapidly growing insurance broker as a Finance Manager. Improving the reporting structures and supporting the management accounts analysis, this role is an excellent opportunity to develop the reporting’s and analysis skills within a financially regulated background.
The key responsibilities are:
- Oversee the production of monthly management accounts at profit centre and legal entity level
- Ensure balance sheet is fully reconciled with full supporting schedules
- Monthly reconciliation of payroll postings to the general ledger
- Support the annual budget process
- Support the quarterly forecast process
- Assist in the production of annual statutory accounts and audit
- Preparation of the monthly Sarbanes-Oxley submission
- Review client money calculations
- Support/quality control the accounting related to legal entity rationalisation
- Support the Financial Controller, Finance Business Partners and Group Finance to drive change and efficiency in line with Group Finance strategy
- To ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with internal and external clients, including both colleagues and business heads
The successful candidate will be:
- A Finalist / Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Etc.)
- Experience in Management Accounts
- Ideally Broking/Insurance background
