Our client, are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the international finance officers and provide strategic lead. You will also be responsible for managing all financial, fiscal and statutory responsibilities.
This role reports directly into the Financial Controller.
Location: Birmingham (hybrid working)
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £250 - £300 per day
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager
* Ensure effective budget review, project funds transfer and donor accounting are managed within the section and respond to the queries in time
* Provide financial information to the management on monthly operation and finance review meetings
* Identify the needs and support development of staff and partners to increase their competence in preparation of financial reports
* Responsible providing financial data and files for external audits and all audit queries in relation to grant funding for IRW statutory accounts preparation and for project audits
* Development of the reporting Functionality within the system
Key essentials of the Finance Manager
* Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* Demonstrate ability to think strategically and highlight areas of future concern and risk
* Excellent IT skills and extensive experience/ knowledge on using Microsoft packages
