Communicate are supporting a market-leading retail group in the Manchester area as they look to strengthen their finance team with the addition of an accomplished Finance Manager. The finance tem, alongside the wider business, is engaged in an exciting transformation programme that will see the organisation’s support functions evolve to add even greater value in an ever-evolving retail landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and performing the financial accounts on a monthly basis including the preparation of supporting files
- Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, identifying risks and opportunities
- Production of monthly reporting pack for operating costs to be presented to the SLT
- Responsible for the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for store operating costs
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with some PQE
- Retail sector experience, either gained in audit or an in-house capacity (desired, not essential)
- An excellent communicator and keen to contribute to commercial conversations
- Ambitious and keen to carve a successful career in a complex environment
