Financial sustainability for UHI Perth is essential to delivering our strategy and this job will play a crucial role in supporting the SMT, Board and budget holders across the organisation. We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our Finance Team. You will report to the Head of Finance and lead on a wide range of financial areas including preparation of the statutory financial statements, budget preparation, regular reporting of financial management and forecasting, and the completion of VAT and other financial returns. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance Team and will seek continuous improvement in every aspect of the Finance function to make sure that the team is working as efficiently and effectively as possible and performs to a high standard. Customer focus and developing strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and providing analysis and insight to support financial sustainability are critical elements of the role. You will also be the key liaison point for day-to-day enquiries from external and internal auditors to ensure the smooth running of audit processes. You will hold a recognised accounting qualification and have demonstrable experience in this field. Experience in preparing statutory and management accounts and delivering a customer-focussed service is essential.
