Role Overview
As Finance Manager, you will be the cornerstone of the management accounting and financial reporting processes. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at meeting deadlines and providing insightful management information to drive decision-making across various business units.
Key responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Provision of management information to business units, including ad hoc requests
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Continuous improvement of management accounting processes
- Assistance in financial forecasting, budgeting, and annual accounts preparation for both group and subsidiary
- Collaboration with external auditors and regulatory compliance
- Line management responsibility for the management accountant
- Embrace personal development and adapt to evolving organizational needs
Skills and experience required:
- Qualified accountant with management accountant experience in a complex business environment
- Advanced Excel Skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables)
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills, able to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Positive attitude towards improvement and change
- Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary inline with experience and qualifications, therefore a range from £47,000 - £55,000 region.
- Company Pension Scheme - Employer contribution 10% (Employee 5%)
- Monday-Friday (40-hour week), with Flexible working - hybrid offering.
- Annual leave 25 days plus Bank Holidays
