Finance Manager

Role Overview

As Finance Manager, you will be the cornerstone of the management accounting and financial reporting processes. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at meeting deadlines and providing insightful management information to drive decision-making across various business units.

Key responsibilities:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Provision of management information to business units, including ad hoc requests
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Continuous improvement of management accounting processes
• Assistance in financial forecasting, budgeting, and annual accounts preparation for both group and subsidiary
• Collaboration with external auditors and regulatory compliance
• Line management responsibility for the management accountant
• Embrace personal development and adapt to evolving organizational needs

Skills and experience required:

• Qualified accountant with management accountant experience in a complex business environment
• Advanced Excel Skills (Lookups, Pivot Tables)
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Positive attitude towards improvement and change
• Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary inline with experience and qualifications, therefore a range from £47,000 - £55,000 region.
• Company Pension Scheme - Employer contribution 10% (Employee 5%)
• Monday-Friday (40-hour week), with Flexible working - hybrid offering.
• Annual leave 25 days plus Bank Holidays
