Description
Key responsibilities for Finance Manager:
- Managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Preparing and presenting financial reports to the Board of Directors.
- Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external auditors.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Providing strategic financial advice and recommendations.
- Leading the finance team and promoting a collaborative working environment.
- Participating in the development of the organisation's strategic plans.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the public sector or government industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
