Elevation Senior Finance are excited to be partnering with a key client based in Leeds who are looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Finance Systems Manager into their established finance team.
Reporting to the Finance leadership team in a leading role focussed on best practise across Finance Systems and Reporting. The role is a combination of day to day responsibilities for day to day management of the Finance Systems (Sage primarily) and a focus on leading projects to update, implement or transform the current systems in place.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Finance Systems Manager will include:
- Oversee Sage administration across the group and work with our Sage partner
- Lead Finance Systems change projects including daily project management, overseeing external parties, stakeholder management within Group Finance, testing and implementation
- Work with Key Finance management to identify potential projects to; optimise current systems, enhance processes/controls
- Take a leading role in training staff whether it be enhanced excel, automation, Power BI or other related areas
- Use of Power BI for the creation of dashboards for KPI monitoring both for Finance and Operations
- Leverage automation where possible to improve efficiency across the wider finance function
- Willing to learn on the job and build company knowledge on future technologies
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Sage 200 & Power BI Experience would be desirable
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
- Ability to communicate with different levels of organization both internally and externally
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Educated to Degree level
