Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a forward thinking and established business in Lancaster on a permanent basis. 

As Finance you'll play a vital role in providing sound financial information to drive commercial performance of the business

You'll be someone naturally great with numbers and have a commercial focus because the role is fundamental in ensuring that the company continues to be leaders in their field.

About the role

Based in Lancaster you will be responsible for: 

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for all entities, providing full commentary and detailed & intuitive management packs
• Working closely with operational teams, providing support on effective costing to ensure profitability
• Management of small team

About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

• Experience within a commercial Financial Management role
• Excellent people management & communication skills
• Experience in effective cost & profit analysis
• Strong excel skills
• Highly adaptable and self driven

Experience which is not essential but desirable includes:  

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience (minimum 5 years)

What's on offer

• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
