Finance Manager
Welwyn Garden City, Herts
£55,000 - £60,000 per year
Our client, a dynamic and growing company in the travel sector is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join its team. Reporting directly to two senior Directors, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, accounting and analysis, as well as:
* Upholding adherence to industry regulations and financial standards.
* Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
* Formulating and executing impactful financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
* Supervising the preparation of precise and punctual financial statements, reports, and analyses.
* Analysing financial data, offering insights, and presenting recommendations.
* Steering the budgeting and forecasting processes to align with strategic objectives.
* Ensuring effective cash flow management, encompassing monitoring of receivables, payables, and working capital.
* Leading the year-end audit process and collaborating with external auditors.
* Providing senior management with financial guidance and support.
Requirements:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified or Qualified by Experience.
* Experience within the travel sector
* Excellent understanding of TOMS VAT
* Proven experience in financial leadership role.
* Previous knowledge of the relevant industry is desirable.
* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership skills.
