As a Finance Manager, you will:

• Take responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, management accounting and finalising the year-end statutory accounts with external auditors.
• Lead and line-manage the Finance team including recruitment, appraisals, performance management and ensuring efficient and adequate cover.
• Support the Finance Director on appropriate grant administration and reporting tasks as well as other day to day cash management duties. 
• Be responsible for good administrative, control and compliance systems, and reports to external stakeholders.

To be successful as a Finance Manager, you will:

• Professional Accountancy Qualification – ACCA, ACMA or ICAEW qualified with ideally five years’ post-qualification demonstrative and substantial experience.
• Hold strengths in organisation skills, especially about administration, prioritising workload, and meeting reporting deadlines.
• Describe yourself as a hard working, personable, team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines. 
• Be driven to develop within your role to progress into a Director level position to learn and take on responsibility from the current Finance Director before they leave.  

In return, my client are offering a salary of up to £59,600 per annum dependent on experience and qualifications relating to the role.
