Finance Manager

Isca Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a proactive accounting professional to join a dynamic growing business as theFinance Manager.

Working as a part of a friendly office team, the Finance Manager will be the sole finance person with full responsibility for the smooth operation of the finance function, as well as supporting the Director. This is a key role in the business and a super opportunity for an individual with hands on accounting experience. Duties including:

• Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers, banking, reconciliations.
• Monthly management accounts production.
• Cash flow forecasting and management.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Cost accounting tasks including work in progress.
• MI reporting and financial analysis.
• Responsible for the company payroll.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and resolving customer queries and undertake credit control.
• Providing financial expertise to the Directors.
• VAT returns and year end accounting tasks.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000pa depending on experience + benefits.
Hours: 347.5 hours, Mon – Fri some flexibility on start and finish times
Location: Office based with parking, 1 day per week working from home

Finance Manager - The Person:

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager seeking to move into a varied stand-alone role with responsibilities which will grow over time.

The successful candidate is likely to hold AAT qualification or be ACCA / CIMA part qualified however applications from individuals with the relevant experience are also very welcome.

You will possess recent accounts experience including management accounting, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, payroll and reconciliations.

This role will suit a proactive individual able to manage their own workload to meet deadlines, where you will be in a key position to ensure the smooth running of the business.

You will have a friendly personality and possess strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
