Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Impact Education
Are you an ambitious individual seeking a finance role offering you great career development and supporting our family of schools? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!
In this role you be key in helping to deliver an outstanding finance service to three of our schools in Kirklees. You will be part of a small team providing financial transaction processing support, as well as responding efficiently to queries from school leaders and managers. This is an extremely varied (and busy!) role spanning many aspects of the finance function, including order and invoice processing, sales invoicing and credit control, cash banking and reconciliations. We would also love you to be able to support answering budget queries once you have become more familiar with the role.
We’re keen to speak to individuals with exceptional attention to detail, a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you will be in a finance administrator role currently and looking to further your development and career. However, we are also keen to hear from administrators who do not have the finance experience but have the desire and right skill set to become a finance professional. At Impact Education we are proud of our professional learning offer, and we would be happy to support the right candidate in gaining finance qualifications through the fantastic apprenticeship routes available.
Due to the majority of our employees being school/office based, we are ideally seeking someone who enjoys being in the office every day. Once our new team member has got to grips with the environment, systems etc., there is scope to move to a proportion of time working from home.
If you would like to find out more about the role and what it is like to work in the Finance Team at Impact, please email kbradwell@i-mat.org.uk and Kathryn, our Trust Accountant can arrange to call you for an informal chat.
