Within the role of Finance Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for utilising your expertise to provide accurate and timely financial reporting, while providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organisation. Responsibilities to include:
- Collaborate with the Finance team alongside other internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Operate towards both internal and regulatory policies/ guidelines.
- Monitor and analyse data to highlight discrepancies or irregularities, working closely with other teams to resolve issues and maintain accuracy.
- Utilise advanced data analysis techniques to extract insights from financial and operational data, enabling the Finance team to make informed decisions and drive business performance.
- Continuously review and enhance reporting processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Implement best practices and automation to streamline reporting tasks.
- Prior financial reporting exposure with a strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting best practices.
- Natural focus on attention to detail and continuous monitoring of data to achieve accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification in Accountancy would be advantageous but not essential.
- Clear understanding of financial principles, accounting & regulations
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Confident user of financial software and tools such as Excel, ERP systems, and data visualisation platforms.
- Confident and professional communication abilities with the ease of dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
