- Managing and developing a team of 5 skilled accounts professionals
- Ensure the timely and accurate recording of all accounts transactions
- Oversee the monthly close to strict group deadlines and preparation of financial statements
- Ensure all financial deadlines are met
- Oversee journals and reconcile discrepancies
- Review and prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Identify and improve processes
- Work closely with the auditors
The ideal person will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a proven track record in financial reporting, and strong systems skills including Excel to an advanced level. Six Sigma would be an advantage, a planner, highly organised and used to manipulating a large volume of data.
