The Finance Systems Business Analyst is a critical role in our Accounting & Finance team, responsible for analysing and improving financial systems within our public sector company. This position requires a team player who can effectively manage, organise and utilise financial data to improve business operations.

Description

• Analysing existing financial systems and suggesting improvements.
• Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team to manage financial data.
• Assisting in budget planning and management.
• Developing and implementing strategies for financial data management.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Providing support to the Accounting & Finance department in their daily operations.
• Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
• Preparing detailed reports on financial performance on a regular basis.

Profile

A successful Finance Systems Business Analyst should have:

• A degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial software and databases.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Offer

• A competitive salary in the range of £56,000 - £84,000 per annum.
• A potential 5% employee bonus, dependent on performance.
