Finance Systems & Reporting Manager

Venari Finance are delighted to be exclusively engaged by our key client in East Kilbride as they go to market for a newly created Finance Systems & Reporting Manager.

This presents an exciting period for our well established client and the role will report to the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you'll be responsible for keeping the organisations finance system running smoothly, ensuring financial information reaches those that need it and building financial literacy and confidence throughout the business.

Key Role Areas:

- Developing a suite of financial reports, as the business transforms through a new ERP insourcing project

- Training of key stakeholders of various systems and reports

- Liaise closely with finance and wider business stakeholders to ensure processes are understood and maintain documentation of system-based processes and procedures.

- Liaise and collaborate with IT teams on various system integrations and validation of master data.

- Provide technical and process expertise and guidance to support strategic projects.

- Upon completion of this project in 12 months, the role will pivot towards reviewing BAU finance reporting, whilst continuing to look at digital transformation and process automation/ improvement across the department.

Systems in scope (Experience not essential in all):

- Sage Intacct

- Nectari Business Intelligence

- Microsoft Excel

- Budgeting & Forecasting tools

Reports known to create:

- Summary P&L, B/S, Statistical Accounts and Statutory Accounts working sheets.

- Detailed P&L reports by Location, Department, Class type etc.

- Summarised group board Reporting

- Suite of Performance KPI's

- Sage Intacct dashboard summaries

- Annual Budget tool with a view to part-automating

- Weekly forecasting tool with a view to part automating

- Daily revenue summary reports

- Group liquidity/ cash flow models

Candidate Background:

• Strong IT experience

• Strong Finance background- qualified would be advantageous

• Ability to operate in a fast and complex environment

• Willing to be hands on to set up the function initially
