Finance/Banking Assistant

Are you currently working in a Banking/Financial Services or Accountancy role and feeling undervalued? I am working exclusively with my client a Wealth Management Business to recruit a Banking/Finance Assistant. The role offers lots of variety and no two days are the same. If you like to be busy and want career progression this is definitely the role for you!

Role Description:

• Daily: end to end processing of all payments (various currencies, banks and countries)

• Daily: completing audit rec for all payments on Xero

• Daily: corresponding with suppliers, PA’setc, logging, paying and responding to all payment requests

• Daily: working with accountants on daily bookkeeping and cash reconciliations for any payment detail queries

• Ad Hoc: aiding with the completion of forms, applications and other reports

• Ad Hoc: assisting KYC requests for various banks

• Other ad hoc office tasks

Required:

• Payments, credit control and basic banking knowledge is essential

• Attention to detail

• Keen to take initiative

• Team player - small team so important for you to fit in.

Advantageous but not required:

• Knowledge of Xero accounting software

• Intermediate excel skills
