Platinum Recruitment have a unique opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join one of the leading infrastructure, transport and real estate investors in the UK, who have an annual turnover of around £5 billion.
My client have grown in recent years with an ethos of recycling capital into long term sustainable investments gaining a reputation of visionary regeneration projects, primarily in the North of England.
The role of the Financial Accountant is an integral part of the finance team and revolves around delivering the Groups internal and external financial reporting obligations in a timed setting. The main responsibilities will include the preparation of monthly accounts and cashflow forecasting alongside investigating financial discrepancies and inaccuracies, as well as audit and tax compliance, which will be reported to the Financial Controller. The chosen candidate will manage two assistant accountants, and must have good communication and leadership skills.
Key requirements:
- Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with PQE.
- Background of working to tight deadlines and perform all tasks in a timely manner.
- 2 years PQE experience in a similar financial accounting role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills
