Page Personnel are currently recruiting for a PQ or QBE Financial Accountant for one of our leading clients who specialise within the Financial Services industry and are based in central London. The role will suit an individual who holds a strong understanding of an Accounting function and will ideally hold up to 5 years of previous experience within similar roles and the Financial Services industry.
Our client are specialist investors within social infrastructure real estate, they invest assets that are Fundamental to society's needs. Located in central London, they provide an extremely accessible working environment and offer the option to work from home one day per week. Their newly refurbished offices feature a luxurious work space, complete with showers and a kitchen for personal use.
Description
As Financial Accountant, your key duties will include but will not be limited to:
- Preparing P&L and Cash Flow forecasts
- Preparing company secretarial filings and responsibilities
- Approving and paying purchase orders
- Raising sales invoices and collecting from debtors
- Preparing timely quarterly VAT returns
- Supporting year-end processes
- Working hand in hand with the Fund Finance Managers to ensure seamless collaboration
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Performing bank reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and payroll
- General ad hoc duties as required
Profile
Will be immediately available to start the position or on a reduced notice period
Will hold a minimum of 5 years experience within Financial Accounting
Must hold exposure to working within the Financial Services industry
Will ideally be studying towards completion of ACCA, CIMA or equivalent other
Job Offer
Immediate start role + Temporary to permanent role (likely to be 6 months temporary to start) + Hybrid working available, 1 day from home per week which will be a Friday + Central London location + Well established company + Plush new office space + Great team environment + Salary ranging up to £45,000 (Dependent on your experience)
