Financial Accountant Polish Speaking

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for gathering, processing and verifying financial data, reconciling and ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and providing information for required stakeholders. 

This role is to support the transactional side of the business; responsibilities will include supporting the the companies accounts in Poland so the company require a Polish speaker, fluent in both written and verbal communication. 
The applicant will be flexible and tenacious, self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for month end close - working to a 2 day close and providing support to the Finance Manager’s. This will include raising journals, generating reports and any other support to the broader finance teams.
• Daily bank reconciliations, reconciling the accounts and working with Finance Managers, Treasury team, AP and AR to resolve any mis postings.
• Weekly meetings with AP and AR teams to discuss any discrepancies.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the balance sheet reconciliations, working to agreed deadlines
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide support for the statutory accounts and necessary audit schedules as required for the entities responsible for.
• Working with auditors as required, attending to audit queries and audit information requests. 
• Attending to adhoc requests from Finance Managers and supporting various projects.

Requirements:

• Polish speaker - fluent in written and verbal communication
• Part qualified accountant – ideally a AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•  Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
