Financial Controller Designate - Rotherham

Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be supporting a PE backed manufacturing business in Rotherham as they look to recruit a Financial Controller designate.
This is the perfect role for an Accountant who is looking to step up into a managerial role. 
The position reports to the Finance Director and the main purpose of the role will be to ensure the accurate production of management accounts, analysis of financial information and the development of financial controls.
Responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Training, management, and development of the finance team
- Business partnering with sales, operations and commercial teams
- Continuous development in system and IT platforms – including identification of process improvements
- Point of contact for external parties – HMRC, Auditors, etc.
- Development and production of MI systems
- Presenting MI to relevant stakeholder
- Operational partner with stock, productivity and efficiency measures and analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Measurement of internal controls with recommendations and implementation where applicable
- Part of Senior Management Team weekly meeting
