Description
- Production of periodic (monthly) management accounts
- Production of periodic (monthly) summary of fund statement
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain and update the fixed asset registers and arrange updates on investment asset valuations
- Contributing to the development of financial strategies
- Production and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Implementing financial control procedures
- Participating in financial decision-making processes
- Liaise with auditors in the preparation of year-end audit
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- Professional qualification e.g (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
- Knowledge of Charity SORP (FRS 102), fund accounting and other relevant accounting standards
- Experience in producing statutory charity accounts and trading subsidiary accounts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a team
