Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their prestigious client for a permanent Financial Accountant to join their busy team. Salary is £46,000 - £52,000 depending on experience + hybrid working, 39 days annual leave and a highly competitive pension contribution.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the provision of accurate & timely financial reporting, planning & treasury management. You will complete monthly financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, cashflow forecasting & complex debt reporting. You will also be heavily involved in process & system streamlining & improvement. You will oversee accounts receivable, identifying any process improvement to minimise risk & effective cash management.
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a strong technical accounting background. You will be highly experienced in financial reporting and have an ability to problem-solve technical accounting matters. You will have a customer-focused mindset with an ability to build long-lasting internal & external relationships. Having a process improvement mindset is an important aspect of this role. Experience in fixed asset accounting is a bonus but not essential. Data & financial modelling is also an aspect of the role, so experience in this area is advantageous but again not essential.
