Finance Assistant

Location: Leeds

Office based full time

Financial support for examination fees

Salary range: up to £30,000 dependent on experience

Hortor is partnered with a Leeds based investment firm, predominantly in the ESG and impact investing space.

This role will suit an Accountancy & Finance Graduate wanting to grow with the company and study their ACCA / CIMA. Candidates with some experience looking for a progressive step

Your role will include basic bookkeeping activities and administrative tasks.

· Supporting the Assistant Management Accountant as they complete month end duties such as journals, prepayments, accruals

· Managing bank reconciliations and expenses using data entry platforms and account software to ensure the company accounts are up-to-date.

· Mailbox management

· Customer queries

· Cashflow reporting

· Raising invoices

· Chasing debt

· Chasing timesheets

· Contract management

The right candidate will be ambitious to complete their academic studies with a 1 year minimum exposure to Finance functions out of university. Adapts to new systems and uses Excel well. You will be inquisitive, ambitious, outgoing and looking for a supported progressive role!
