Contract: 3-6-month contract
Hours: Full-time
Salary/Benefits: £350-£400 per day

Role Details
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join an established Financial Services business based in South Birmingham on a 3-6-month contract. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to join a fast-growing business where they can develop their career.

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller
* The Financial Controller will be responsible for producing financial reports to include consolidated level of P&L's to facilitate and complete business analysis, measurement and reporting for geographical locations and product streams.
* The individual will be required to translate UK Management Accounts local format into the Group format with and in-depth understanding of the variations and the impact this has
* A large part of the role will include production and facilitation of business budgeting, monthly rolling forecast and trend analysis
* The Financial Controller will also be required to provide leadership, direction and support including performance reviews for the Management Accounts Team including the performance reviews and manage the period end closing process in liaison with the Treasury Controller
* The Financial controller will need to partner with key Stakeholders in the business to provide high levels of support to facilitate decision making, able to liaise with all various departments

Skills required of the Financial Controller
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior financial role
* Proven management experience and an ability to mentor and develop their teams
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience working with Manufacturing/Supply chain environments
