Financial Controller

SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a Sutton Coldfield based manufacturing business who are looking a Financial Controller on a permanent basis.
This is a good time to join the business as they look to strengthen the finance team with this key appointment. The business in question is in need of a strong Financial Controller to steady the ship and help with future growth plans.
My client requires an individual with a continuous improvement mindset who is capable of putting in place strong controls, processes and procedures to ensure the effective running of the finance team and ensuring finance plays a pivotal part in the growth of the business.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for running the finance team, as well as the following:
Responsibility for month end close
Group reporting
Business partnering operational colleagues
Internal and external audit
Tax matters
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and must have experience in a manufacturing setting.
