About Our Client
Our client is an established player in the FMCG sector, with a significant presence across the globe. They are widely recognised for their high-quality products. This is a c.£20-£30m t/o division of a much larger global business.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team; directly line managing 1 person who in turn manages 2-3.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Oversee the preparation of all financial audits
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to group level finance
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the management level to align with company goals
- Making sure the site follows company procedure
- Continually review and improve financial processes and systems
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in a similar role, this can be within the FMCG sector or within another industry
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
- Strong knowledge of accounting software / Excel
- Ability to strategise and solve problems
