An all encompassing Financial Controller role, looking at Group wide (UK & US & South America) financial information, financial control & management accounts.
You will sit as the Financial Controller within this infrastructure asset management company that forms part of GBP700million turnover group, reporting directly to the MD with a dotted line to the group divisional Finance Director.
You will be in the office 2-3 times a week and will have ownership of the following responsibilities
- Month end close
- Production of trial balances for all entities spread across the UK, US and South America
- Uploading trail balances
- Prepayments
- Accruals
- Deferred income
- VAT returns
- Payroll
- Multi-currency Bank payments
- UK balance sheet Reconciliations
- Intercompany transactions and balances
- cash-flow forecasts (monthly)
- Annual budgets
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- P&L maintenance
You will have the assistance of a part time accountant as well as the groups wider finance function.
About you
- You will be fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Happy to work as part of a smaller team within a larger organisation
- Ability to learn new processes and systems
- Experience in Payroll, VAT reporting & bank management
