Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a market leading business based in Ipswich.
 
You will be a providing leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy, as well as working alongside company Directors to develop commercial awareness across the business.
 
Responsibilities include:

• Leadership and development of the Finance department
• Production of monthly and annual financial and management accounts
• Ownership for budgeting, forecasting, P&L and strategic plans within the business to ensure strong cash management
• Providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• Managing elements the transactional side of finance to include payroll and credit control
• VAT returns and handling HRMC matters

 
Person specification:

• You will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post qualification experience
• Strong technical ability as well as a natural business and commercial acumen

• Excellent IT skills
• Strong leadership abilities with a proactive results-driven mindset
