We are seeking a proficient Financial Controller to join a leading organisation in Sutton Coldfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, providing accurate financial reports, and ensuring company financial policies are adhered to.

Description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
• Develop and manage financial systems and policies.

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA). Those QBE with relevant industry experience may be considered.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Strong understanding of business principles and practices.
• Superior attention to detail.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary package, estimated between £75,000 to £80,000 per annum.

This role is based on site 5 days per week, but offers flexibility within that
