Salary: £60,000 to £70,000

I am currently working with a SME business, based in Birmingham, who are looking to gain control & transparency within their finances. This role will be a No.1 in Finance position, tasked with brining their finance function in-house, with full control of their internal finance function. This company is the oldest in their established market, having been established in the 1800's.

This role will be crucial to assisting with their expansion plans to achieve a turnover of £10 million. This business is currently sitting at a turnover of just over £2.5 million, operating across the UK, EU and USA markets.

Their current finance function utilises two P/T Bookkeepers, along with an external Accountancy firm.

What they need:

• Experienced in dealing with owner-managed SME businesses
• Proven ability to bring a finance function in-house, inclusive of building it from the ground up
• Commercially minded, someone who is able to get 'stuck in' with driving the revenue & business growth forward
• Clear & precise communication with Non-Finance colleagues, to provide clear and transparent financial information and advice
