The Financial Inclusion Officer will support an existing income team by supporting tenants to maximise their income by providing money management and welfare benefit advice.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting tenants through welfare benefits reforms inclusing universal credit and claimant commitment
- Enabling tenants maximise their income and sustain their tenancy thorugh effective advice, training and signposting
- Contributing to a range of projects and build relation with internal and external partners
It is essential that you have experience of outreach work with housing tenants, posses knowledge around debt welfare, credit unions and money advice services, have an understanding of equality and diversity and experience of welfare reform.
Valid driving license required.
