SalaryOur Malvern based client are looking for a Financial Accountant to join their friendly and well-established team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be assisting to oversee a small finance team on a day to day basis alongside your main Fnancial Accountant duties.
Duties and responsibilities include...
Preparing monthly payroll
Overseeing nominal, stock and purchase ledgers
Month end accounts preparation and journals
Review of Accruals and prepayments
Reporting figures monthly to Group
Maintaining Cap-Ex project ledger
Inventory reconciliations receipts and purchase
Average costing and production variance analysis
VAT returns
Assisting with annual budget preparation
Assisting with year-end audit
Your experience will include...
- MS Excel (pivots, vLookUps etc)
- Part or Fully Qualified CIMA, ACCA or similar
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and make key decisions when required
- Proven management/ supervisor skills
- Fast-paced financial accounts experience within the manufacturing industry and stock resale is essential
